Default Swingarm bolt

Hi!
Now when i have the shock linkage down i was thinking " maybe best to change the swing bearings now as well".
Now to my question, have the previous owner welded the bolt to the chassi, see picture, or how do i remove the bolt.
Thanks
Hulle

You undo it from the other side, that blob of weld is there to stop the bolt from spinning when you undo the nut.

No, don't just hit the nut, break it loose with a torque wrench, then unscrew with a socket.

Take a bit of the weight off the wheel, undo the nut a bit and tap till it moves then remove the nut and use a drift so you don't muller the threads

If it is bound up you may need to loosen all the motor mounts. I have to do this to my 250.

Also loosen those offset brackets too. Both of them.

A 3/8" extension works well to tap it out with. Should seat nicely on the center and not mar your threads. Assuming it has been maintained, it should come out without much force. A few mild taps of a rubber mallet.
