Default Big bore supermoto

Hi all. I'm based in the uk and now winter is here I want to do some engine work.

Have seen a few Google searches showing Eric can bore and port a 300 cylinder to a 327 can anyone tell me if this is true and any experiences with it ?. Would it be worth getting a carb mod done by rb desighns also?

I have no direct experience but the folks who get the house of horse power cone pipe and carb mods/new carb are feeling a dramatic increase in power. Plus it looks trick!

I know that doesnt answer your question but maybe it will give you the power you seek without and dramatic engine changes.

I have the first 300/327 GG big bore Eric made. I love it and it runs awesome! It has amazing low end and it makes more power all the way through the RPM range. Initially I thought it did not rev as high as other 300s until I recently changed from the stock brick style CDI that came on the old 2000 and I installed a newer CDI from a 2004 300.

Here are some more details on it.

Niall I'm in the uk and also been thinking exactly the same thing, I didn't know about these big bore kits, I was just going to get the head Machined and port work done and use a lectron 38mm carb

Are you looking to get everything sent from the US ?

Contact Eric http://eric-gorr.com/ I am sure he can help you out. He was working through Millennium Technology for a while and he is now back on his own.

Just wanted to say that's a sharp looking bike. Did you just spoke different rims to the stock hubs?

There are some horror stories concerning work performed by Eric Gorr and his customer service - do a search here. One member here had a very, very bad experience.

And I have a personal friend who also had an extremely poor experience - what was returned was not usable.... Bad stuff...
