Go the Suzi needle! I thought the video lacked the tell tale burbling and cloud of smoke that followed most stock bikes from the factory through the trails

A few typos here and there. A reference to a Sachs shock and a picture showing an Ohlins. All in all very positive though. I'm super glad they took the time to tune the engine and suspension a little before testing. Makes for more of a real life review.

Thanks for the link

After the last test session I'm sure Clay took care of that....

I did not have anything to do with this test. Kevin's brother, Keith, arranged this through a dealer in CO. Keith has been racing a GG for the past two years. Kevin must really have liked the bike because he asked me about buying one.
I also just sent him a Sherco 300 4T and next month I'm going to send him a Sherco XRide. Kevin does a really good job and I like working with him.

Thumbs up

The article combined with the video gave U a really good look at the '13 300. Very well done I thought. The right springs/valving and tires give U a much clearer look at the bikes abilities. That was a fun video btw.

Default Trail Rider Magazine

This is great content! I enjoyed the articles and found them much more relevant to me than my current subscriptions...so I subscribed! Oh yeah, to stay on topic is was a very fair and honest review of the '13 gasser.

I reckon Kevin Novello, and chilly on enduro 360 are the best, least biased bike testers out there, it is like having a beer after a ride and yabbing about each others bikes.....and I'm in Australia. No one over here is as erudite, the transmoto team are the most honest though. Uk trail rider also seem pretty on the money and not just ktm advertising agents.

As ktm gets more jap feeling, I believe offroad scribes will get less on eyed, they used to have a very certain feel and jumping off them onto something else felt like putting you shirt on backwards, as this difference disappears the kool aid may run out. MXA are in reverse with jap bikes. Just imho
