Default Ohlins fork size?

I need to replace the fork seals on my 2002 ec300 with a Ohlins FG 012 fork.
Anybody know what size this fork is. It looks like the manual says 46mm??

Hi Mike!

Just thinking about ya put a smile on my face.

Les says any 46mm kyb fork seal will work. YZ, etc.

Cool, I spoke to Les just the other day. What a awesome guy..and damn tuff too! LOL Thanks for the info. Glad to see you still have this great website going. If you're ever down my way let me know. Keep up the good work and I'll be on here quite regular as I'm rebuilding an old ECO300 I bought for cheap and it has maybe 40 hours on it since new! It runs great (of course). Later, Mike O

Oh man - my brain is going - Mike....

Sounds like a nice ride.

Here is a link to the 46mm ohlins fork manual :

I am doing the same thing on my 03.
Anyone know if the KYB bushings will work. I looked them up on the GoFasters site today and they are $156+ each for the OE! KYB/Showa/WP bushings are around $12-15 each! I got the KYB seal kit from Rob@Synergy the other day, tore them down yesterday and my bushings have seen better days.

Thanks for the link on the Ohlins manual. It is slightly different than the one I got with my 300. The compression adjuster is different in my book. I have the "knob" type on mine which seems to indicate 2003 model of the FG012 [as in the link], while the booklet that I have is apparently the '01-02 version.

I doubt the bushings will work off of a kyb - I will confirm with Les tomorrow....

The first place I would check is Ohlins USA...

Thanks, I know it would be a stretch. I am curious as to what Les has to say.

I have been all over OhlinsUSA and our forks do not seem to exist in their online database anymore!
I will try to call them in the morning.

I appreciate the assistance.
