Default Fork rebound clickers

When turning clickers all the way in to full hard will the clickers eventually physically stop? I?m asking because I am changing my springs so I turned them all the way in just to see where they were. According to the manual they are set from the factory at 14 clicks out and I never touched them. So when turning them I got to 14 and was able to go in two more but those last two were more difficult to turn, but they did turn and clicked. Just want to make sure I didn?t mess anything up by turning in too far.
Thanks

Generally not all the same.
If they are sachs forks be careful not to strip them
