i have a new 2009 ec 250 have only had it in the woods twice brakeing it in, the first time the bike would not run clean in midde range, after checking it out i found the choke cable is too short, took the lever off the bar and ground down the inside of the lever so it would have some slack,now it's fine.i feel the rear shock is too stiff .backed off the spring and 2 clicks on the dial. same with the forks. really like the way it turns and the motor is great, but it came with a euro friendly rear tire it is junk,. i sorry. i belive it do nicely for me, with a good rear tire dennis
