Water Pump Seal Removal

Can any one help I have a Gas Gas JTX 200 1996. I am having problems with water getting into the oil. I was going to replace the water pump seal but on close inspection the impeller shaft seems a bit wobbly. Should I replace the impeller shaft and if so how do I get it out?
