Default bike hot or not?

2005 EC200 with Flatland guards, LTR impeller. One rad was tweaked a little before the brace but not bad.

I'm dual-sporting the bike to the trails and noticed more coolant in the overflow bottle. I don't see any coolant on the ground. The motor seems to be at normal operating temps. I can touch the motor so it can't be that hot. Doesn't smell hot. I do ride one gear higher to keep the noise down. I replace the water pump seal last year and added coolant.

Maybe I need to get that water pump spinning more. Maybe I added to much coolant. Maybe the thermostat is bad. I'm not sure on the carb settings...so don't ask.

Should I be worried?

Check the level of the water in the rad's it sounds like it's high and just pushing water out as it expands (gets upto notmal temperature)

I didn't think they had thermostats in the GG 2 strokes?

A bad cap will make the coolant come out of the radiator vent hose.
The overflow bottle is tied into the radiator top tanks.

You can always put one of those temperature sensitive strips on you radiator tank.
Will give an idea of how hot your motor is running.

Your probably fine. I always go to a 1.4 bar cap from the stock 1.2, fill the rads to 10mm over the fins and ditch the expansion tank. Never a problem.
