Would a 450 fit in a 400 frame?

Hi all,

I have a 2002 400 fse with a knackered engine I have been offered a 2004 450 engine for cheap would anyone know if this would work/fit?

Without really knowing, I would say yes. Since no one else has furnished any other comment, your best bet might be to look at the online shop and parts manuals for a more definitive answer.

If you get it and it doesn't fit let me know, I'll buy it

basically same engine with different size piston, should fit straight in, even the eclu and electrics should all be the same
