Default oil drain washer

What size is the oil drain washer and the filler on the 04 ec 200. Can one use and o'ring instead of a copper washer?

My oil drain plug (2004 EC250) has an o-ring. The filler plug has the copper crush washer.

An o-ring is much better to use on the bottom because it makes the bolt much harder to shake loose than a crush washer. Doesn't need to be tightened nearly as much as a crush washer.

I have a bag of teflon washers at home. If you send me a PM later today (12 hours from now) I will look at the dimensions and send along any information I have.

Edit: I ordered McMaster Carr part number 9559K313
PTFE O-Ring

I buy the vitron o-ring kit (metric) at Harbor Freight. I think it's $10-$12 (often on sale for 8-9). It has 3 sets of exhaust pipe o-rings, probably 10-12 that will fit the drain plug and suspension linkage. In total maybe 2 dozen different sizes. These work great - been using them for years.

On closer examination these o-rings aren't vitron they are nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR). I have a kit in a red box (#W5203) from Performance Tool and a kit in a blue box (item #67580) from a company called STOREHOUSE. Kits contain @400 o-rings in more than 30 sizes (10-20 of each size). Sizes range from 2.8mm ID to 50mm ID.

p.s. My cell phone that takes pics quit working so I'm back to my old $10 flip phone from WalMart (it has no camera). Maybe I can find Connie's camera.

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and not really sure how it all works yet. I'm trying to find out if anyone knows if there are any websites (uk) where I can order the oil drain bolt for a gasgas ec 300cc 2004 . Thanks in advance for any replies.
