Default Bike Computer

Hey All,

I got myself an 03 EC 200 that i use just to ride around at the local parks and trails...no racing. The bike didn't come with any gauges and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on a relatively cheap bike computer. All i need is speed, distance, and hours would be nice but not required.

Thanks,
Sam

depends on how cheap you want to go. walmart has 10 and 20 dollar speedos, 20 is wireless, wired one needs wires lengthened to work. and on ebay you can find hour meters with tach, for between 20/30.
IMO your best bet is to spend the hundy and get a trailtech. really easy to hook up, looks correct, and has all the functions you want and then some. gofasters carries these, and the correct mounts.

i have the trail tech on mine and it works very well. 01 xc300. Mine is the cheaper "endurance" model but it will give you all the features you are looking for. It gives actual ride time, top speed, average speed, hours, I guess based on actual ride time, ride distance. I have read of guys having problems with them, but mine has been on 2 different bikes and works fine.

Thanks Guys! Something like the trailtech looks perfect for me. About $100 is what I had in mind, just doing some general searching on the internet I was finding $400 enduro computers OUCH! Found it on go fasters for $90. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

An enduro computer is much more than a TrialTech, and based on your first post you don't need.

I have the TrialTech Vector on mine. It's larger than the Endurance and has a remote switch. The Vector has more features but many that I don't use.
