Default direct injection

Has anyone heard if Gas Gas have a direct injection 2 stroke under development, know KTM have one on the way. If KTM are the only ones coming out with one they may dominate sales. Surely some one knows...

I'd be all over a direct injection 2t.

Gas Gas should be in touch with bombardier, they all ready have DI on their sleds. They don't have any dirtbikes to sell ... might make for an interesting symbiotic relationship. Gaa ... then we might end up riding can-am's!!

True......
But what would happen to rest of bikes if KTM do release theirs, I have heard that they have had KTM200 running around for the last year or so, increased power, reduced emmisions and they were getting 200 klm to a tank!!!!!!!.
Would make choosing any other bike hard. Know if I had to choose between direct injected E start KTM300 and GG300, or for that matter any other 2 stroke, it would be hard to go past KTM....How would any other manufacturer compete against that....
Certainly hope GG are working on one. Thought they would be leading the way, FSE has been running EFI long before the rest of them.

Yes FI will have a lot more advantages on a stroker than on a 4T. KTM obviously have a bigger budget but GG must at least be thinking of it, they have even perfected the battery-less FI system I believe the 450 4T GG can be kick started frm a flat battery so this would transfer straight over to the 2T's (no battery needed).

Come on you GG's !

Here's a nice synopsis on Aprilia's Direct injection.
