Sitting for 6 years ....

Well after sitting for 6 years im getting back on my 04 300ec. The engine was refreshed and dynoed not that long ago so its not got many hrs on it. It made 36hp on the dyno.

Ive replaced the front wheel bearing and caliper seals rewired the back LED light and it starts 1st kick !

The trouble is when i put it in gear it stalls like the clutch has locked up but can ride up and down the gears up the road no problem it when i come to a stop and pull the clutch in it keeps going !

Also has anyone got a good used clutch basket they want to sell

Pull the outer round sidecover off, pull plates out, clean them up and put back together with new gear oil.
Should sort that easy.

Usually the carb jets would block unless carb drained fully before storage.

Did that year have a hydraulic clutch? If so, you might try bleeding and/or rebuilding it. Otherwise, I'm with (F5), pull it apart and clean everything.

Those bikes will do that if they sit a while. You can disassemble the clutch as mentioned or you can start it, get it rolling, pop it into gear and ride it for a bit until the clutch plates free up.
