ec300 stator on xc300?

okay, so heres the deal, i want to add more powerful lighting to my xc300 for those trips into the woods that last a little past dark. i have found an ec300 stator and was wondering, is it a direct bolt on? do i need anything else or should it plug right in with the electronics on the bike now? from what i read the xc put out about 35 watts and the ec puts out around 200watts?

i want to add a brake/tail light, a higher power headlight and a lighting switch assembly, cause the light it has currently isn't cutting it

A buddy of mine had an xc250, my 2011 EC300 stator was busted when I tried to get one of the seazed screws out to remove it. I had to extend one of the wires from his and add a spade connector, works fine with all the lights on...well in the US it is only the front The EC has 2 wires for lights, XC just has the one, but the 2nd is nubbed off and under the shrink wrap. you should be able to peel it back and add the missing 4" inches.

thanks man! i think when i get the money together im gonna go ahead and throw the stator and some more lights on, becasue on many days, including today, its hard to get back before dark...
