Glad to hear things are improving and healing! My wife already thinks I'm too affectionate towards my GasGas, but having that Hyper too I think she would be really jealous!

Thanks Ed. being injured all summer I caught up on family and wifey time so I'm lookin' good now! She is actually happy that I will be able to ride the GG in 6 weeks or so. The Gasser may be jealous, so as soon as I can wrench with authority I have a new top end and a few other things for her.

Some guys say the Hyper is like an Italian super model. I say no, the 1098 or D16RR are the super models, the Hyper is the porn star!

Thumbs up

Fast foward a few months:

Just had my six week post op XRay after Dr. Mark re plated my clavicle with a bone graft and morphegenic protein. There is quite a gap due to the neccessary clean up work. I was bummed as the XRay looks a lot like 1 day post op but the doc is very pleased, said it looked great. Guess I'm no radiologist.

Your looking a little boney there Glenn!

Good to hear that the doc said your are healing up well. You will be thawed out & riding before you know it.

I will be seeing the doc at his booth at the Supercross on Saturday. He said I owe him a beer for doing my surgery.

Hey man I wish I could fly down and party with you guys! It sucks here. Last Sat morning it was -4, I didn't know it but 2 heating pipes in the 2nd floor overhang of my house froze and broke. When it warmed up water was pouring out the front of my house! A big mess, could have been a lot worse though.

Yeah this injury was a bad one and the doc said it demands respect in dealing with the healing. I'm just happy he was so happy. I guess contrast on Xrays is not proportional, that is if you see a little there is actually a lot more.

don't worry buddy I will post a photo show after the event for all to see. Hopefully my wife won't slap me to hard when I take pictures of the starter girls!

It is suppose to hit in the 70's today. If uit would stay around 50 for the whole year I would be happy. I am no doctor but you can see see a bit of a shawdow in the blank area so that must be where the bone is growing?

Default Cleared for Combat!

Its been a long road, 6 months since my last surgery, and 14 months since I've been on a dirt bike. Today, Dr. Mark Sanders just gave me the go ahead to start riding again. I can't say enough good things about this guy and his staff. His level of support is unprecedented in this day and age. Also, a big thanks again to my friend Boomhauer for helping me out.

I need a little more training to get back into shape, especially my shoulder, but should be good for my favorite enduro in the end of July.

Congratulations! That is terrific news.

I've learned a great deal from your posts, and was VERY disappointed a few weeks ago when you were talking about taking a break and perhaps selling the GG. Glad to hear that things have greatly improved, and you'll be back on the bike.

Thanks for letting us know.
