Default Shimming Brainteaser for the susp-gurus

Ok here is the question:

I ordered a gold valve shock kit for my sacks shock from racetech. (it is for a 2009 huky te310, but with Simmo as guinea-pig it works quite well on the GG)

the problem is that they have given me a valve stack that has shims that are not included in the kit. I have asked them for an equivalent stack from the shims in the kit and should get a response today or toomorrow, but thought since the forum seems to be a bit quiet these days it could set off some good debates and give the suspension guys something to think about.

I have attached a pic of what they have specified and highlighted the shims not included and also a pic of the shims i have, what you guys need to go is give an alternative stack and i will also post what racetech comes up with

so here goes!

You will also have the shims from your stock compression and rebound stacks. What are those? e.g. What are the crossover shims in the stock stack? Assuming they are two stage stacks....

And it looks like you have the first shim in your high speed compression stack - .20 X 44 - (you have this one incorrectly highlighted as missing?)

@Jake you should get a copy of racetech's suspension bible (much cheaper than ttx!-jealous dig). I now have a fairly decent grasp of what is going on and could poss be able to modify a stack to change the characteristics, but to come up with a new stack is still beyond me

@Simmo is that stack you have listed what was in your shock before fitting the RT kit?
