Leaking tank
Good evening all. My first post as have recently joned the 'Gasser' gang with a 2002 EC300.
I have a problem with fuel leaks from the tank. I have filled all the holes and purchased the genuine tank bolts from my local dealer. The bike is a 2002 but with 2010 radiator panels. Does the tank have a 'thicker' section where the 13mm bolts secure the panels ?? Are the 2010 panels a different shape to the 2002 version, could this be why the bolts go straight throught the tank and cause a leak ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
