Default EC 300 exhaust Springs

Hi All,

Does anyone know the size of the exhaust springs on a Gas Gas 99 EC 300? I ordered some from FMF with my new pipe and they didn't tell me until I received the pipe they didnt have any. I need to ride this weekend so was hoping to be able to get something close in size from my local shop. Also the diameter of the exhaust Orings would be helpfull too.

I can find the PN online but they don't list the size.

Thanks!

I remember reading somewhere that the o-rings were the same as a CR250. I can't imagine the springs could be that differant either.

I have some exhaust springs from MOOSE at home. I seem to
remember as 45 or 50mm long, but, I will have to check to be sure.
This was the thread that talked about exhaust o-rings.

Or search for "viton" McMaster-Carr shipped them out to me in
a couple of days.
Good luck, Jeff

Harbor Freight has retail stores in larger cities and they sell a set of o rings in a red plastic case that has about 20 different sizes. I use them for my exhaust and for my suspension linkage (instead of seals) with excellent results. Cost is less than $10 and will do 5-6 exhausts and 3-4 linkages.

The exhaust springs I have here are:
MOOSE Exhaust Springs 75mm with an number on the package
of M7711
One end of the spring swivels so it will fit in any direction.
Good luck.
