Default Need help on 99 EC200

I dont think the spacer I have is right. I bought this bike and after a finding the previous owner drilled the top triple clamp uneven I am wondering about other stuff that doesnt seem right.

I took several pics. I got a new front end from Rick and it is a little different.
He wasnt sure if his spacer was the right one. Here is what I have

The spacer I thought should set into the fork tube. The left side of the red line fits in there but comes out when the axleis pushed in tight and nut is snug. You can see above the black line the axle comes out the end of the fork tube into the space where I think the spacer should be.

in the above pic is the spacer from Rick. It fits like I think it should but is a little too wide where the one on the bike I think is too small.

With Rick's spacer the wheel looks like it sits to the right of center. With the forks just hanging loose installing Ricks spacer I have to spread the forks apart an 1/8 in.

Does this have the conventional zook forks? If so, I will dig out my old front wheel and have a look at the axle and spacers for ya.

This is how mine came when I bought it. I noticed (just now) that the axle the side with the puller does not have a spacer. Hope this helps and gives you a better idea of what you might need or do? Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, but your 250 must be different then my 200. I have to use a spacer. After talking to Rick and Jay, we think it is right. This is how I'm running it now

Hotrodn,, looks like you have a ktm axle,, the spacers are the same for my 97 250 and that is what should be on yours.. the ktm had a different right fork leg and speedo drive on their wheels. their axles(also Husky w/same forks) are very close but fit just a bit different.
