Default Kx 85 problems

Hi guys I know it's not a gasser but thought u might be able to help .. my mates Bought a kx 85 that has a few problems .. first problem is when u kick it into gear unless your revving the tits off it it'll die .. and the second problem is any sort of small hill it'll bog down an die , but on the flat it rips tidy .. had the carb cleaned which helped a bit .. the bike starts up easy enough and will idle for as long as u want it too ..

Check float height. And if it has a clutch, it sounds like it's sticking...

Usually a bog is caused by a lean condition so make sure you can see through the pilot jet. Also check the intake manifold for cracks/leaks.

pull the clutch cover off, pull the plates off and check for wear marks in the inner hub and basket, if theres grooves in them itll make the plates stick........

Pilot jet and old plug on the bike I worked on today. Turns out it was a ktm85 not a kx.
