Default Blowing fuses 2012 ec 250r

I keep blowing the relay fuse under the seat. I bump the starter each time I change the fuse and it turns, I don?t cold start with the starter, but into my ride it blows the fuse and the starter quits working. Any ideas what it could be or how to troubleshoot.

You need to find out what circuit that fuse feeds.
Take a lower amp fuse, install it.
Just start moving the harness around until the fuse pops.
That's where the short will be.

Solved. The extra wire in the tail light area (assume it is there for a license plate light) was flopping around inside the fender and shorting on one of the bolts on the taillight. Taped the end of it up and all is good
