Thanks and congratulations on your coveted District 17 picture plaque! Thought I recognized you but wasnt sure in the sea of motocross people, too bad we cannot have an "off-road" banquet like the other states have,I have mentioned for years would bring more participation and comradary from the hare scramble/enduro crowd not to mention a more centralized location like Peoria for instance. In searcing for any info on banquet other day ran across your name on merle acords site from years past at wedron. Funny how after years of racing we finally meet at a keyboard.
Not sure of my work schedule yet as I usually work every other weekend but may see you at some of those new school "sprint" hare scrambles this year.Sure wish they were still 2hours plus like the good old days though.

My wifes first race today.
2nd place in womens beginner class. She did so good, very proud of her. 20 min. before the start her bike quit running and she had to ride my big 3hundy. I found out the right side crank nut came loose and bound the gears on her bike????

Now if I can just get all the course workers to stop flirting with her.

LOL, she couldn't wait to get off of it. It was the second time she had ever ridden my bike. The odds were against her that day, the course was sandy I had a trials tire on it. The suspension was stiff for her weight. She said the bike wore her out.

... and her competitors from scoping out "her" bike. Nice how the gear matched

I'm a pretty simple guy. I feel right at home in flannel and blue jeans.

One of these days I'd like to have a few guys over for a ride. I'll let you know if it ever happens. In the mean time let me know if you are looking for someone to ride with or think you might want to come over for a ride on some lightly used single track.

Thanks for the invitation!
How far are you from Chandlerville? (due north of Oakford)
Usually ride there before Roselawn. (River sand).
Focused on a vintage project now, but starting to get that itch.

According to mapquest Chandlerville is about 120 miles or 2.75 hours away.

I don't have much sand around here, and I don't tend to do that great at Roselawn. Go figure.
