Seat has wings that stick out???

Hi everyone,

I have a 2010 ec250 and the seat sticks out which my boots get stuck on.. We tried a 2011 seat on my bike and it doesn't stick out...

The only difference is the person before I believe put a enduro engineering seat on it.. He doesn't know if it was the plastic or the foam only that the shop did it for him. I am assuming its the plastic too since it sticks out so darn far...

does anyone else have this problem of the inverted triangle part ( AKA the wing ) sticking out ??? Its a serious concern as when I lift my leg the boot gets stuck there..

Try heating up the seat base where the "wings" are and squeeze them together with a tie down wrapped around the seat.
Should be ok once it's cooled off.

I have the same bike and my seat does not do that, unless I misunderstand. Pull the seat off and look at the pan. That will tell you if it's foam like a Fisher or Seat Concepts seat or a wider pan as well.
