Default EC125 clutch problems

Has anyone here had a problem with an EC125 hydraulic clutch? I have a friend who has one that just won't keep pressure in the slave cylinder. He has had it into a reputable shop three or four times and the problem seems to be the rubber seal in the slave. The seal leaks and the clutch fluid enters into the engine oil. It holds pressure for a couple hours of riding and then leaks again.

I'm thinking that the piston or casing of the slave might be damaged and it causes the seal to get damaged.

Is their any special trick to installing the piston into the slave? Maybe it is getting damaged upon installation?

Are you sure they use the correct type of seal and fluid? If using a seal that is incompatible with the fluid, strange things may happen. Dot4 or mineral oil...

Yes make sure you are using the correct fluid first.

2nd - check the slave bore condition. I had a Husqvarna hyd clutch where the slave cylinder plating wore through and needed to be replaced.
