clutch basket question

i have an 03 ec 300 , and while i was changing the clutch plates i noticed that i have a some back and forth freeplay between the basket and drive gear riveted to the back of the basket , i was just curious if this is normal for a gasgas. thanks Dave

i was going to order a new basket but after reading that link ill just order new dampers and rivets. thanks Man

Give Jay Hall a call and he can fill you in on the problem. He probably has the parts if you can't get them at your dealer. Halls Cycle in Springfield Ill. I was skeptical when he said that this was the problem on my bike, but sure enough it worked.
