Default Test speed sensor cable?

Is it possible to use an multimeter to function test The cable? The odo used to woke up when i rotated The front wheel but it doesnt anymore.

Any other ideas on what might be causing this?

Do you still have the bracket with the magnet on the front wheel? On my bike it went missing within the first couple of months.

Use continuity function on the multimeter.
If you have 2 wire speed sensor then it's just usual reed switch. So it has just on-off state. If you bring magnet in front of the sensor and the multimeter starts to peeeeeeeep then the sensor is okay.
