Cool video; talk about a soggy ride. A couple of those water crossings would have had me looking for another way around; especially the last one...lol.

So you guys were out on the same trails? The first bit of video had some nice single track, the rest of the wide stuff looked fun too...just under water.

Thanks for sharing man!

We stayed off the wide stuff, but I have ridden it like that many a times. There are some singles off it that usually stay just as wet! Great fun and really hones the skills. 3rd gear, smooth throttle and a bit of momentum works a treat!

The singles are some more of my handywork. Put that one in myself, and its a full 25km section of single. Off it runs another 8km a mate put in, and another couple kms which link onto another sweet loop that other mates had put in. We'd seriously have well over 100kms of single in the area and the terrain keeps changing. Best of all, its all right outside my door. Ala, Mums backyard!

That's frickin' sweet Jake; ~60 miles of single track at "your fingertips" makes me jealous.

Do you own the land or how does that work - is it state owned that you have access too, or private property that you have a relationship with the owners?

The fact that you can head out for a ride from home and end up at a bar for a cold one before heading back sounds pretty close to paradise...lol.

Bike is registered so some is commuting on gazetted roads (firetrails), a little on private property/state leasehold land. Not many houses in the area.
