EC 250 2008 footpegs
Hi guys.. I have really bent and few time welded foot pegs on my 2008 gasser. I have pair of RMZ foot pegs with mounts. I want to cut old footpegs and use those from RMZ. Do you think is it possible to cut threads to frame or it would be better to weld it? I dont know if the frame on my gasser is hollow where footpegs are welded.

It would be better to weld it.
There's not enough material in the frame there to thread into. |

I agree there is not enough material and the threads will pull out and you will be very unhappy.

You can use good looking billet pegs anyway. You just buy the Yamaha type. They will fit your frame (if the frame isn't damaged, that is).
