Default The grass is never greener, Even after Third Try

It must be a sickness I have. I have owned 4 GG 200,250's Beginning with 2004. But I keep leaving .When I leave I am never happy.I loose a ton of money then come back

This spring was no different, I had a 2006 200 and 2007 250 that needed a little work, My choice was to spruce both up or buy a new/newer bike.

Then like ass I stray this time to a New Husaberg 450. The bike is a nice bike . Fit in finish is nice. the fuel injected moter is sweet. It is a great dual sport bike. Sunday ride bike. I know many like them and get them to work well. For my 45 year old body it is just to heavy and big in the nasty Netra enduros I ride. I was hoping for a planted 4 stroke feeling to plow through the rocks, but when pounding through the rocks it is just not my GG

I sure miss my GG. My biggest bind is we bought a new house this spring, I spent my wifes kitchen money on the berg.. If I come home with a new GG she is going to freak out.

The morale of the story is if your really love your GG feel and the way it fits you not much compares in my opionion.(Of course if you hate your GG and might like a berg maybe we should talk)

In the past 6 years I have strayed to:
2005 YZ125 (Nice Bike)
2005 ktm 200
2006 RM 250
2006 CRF250
2010 Husberg 450

Give me GG any day over all of them

You should be able to sell that 'berg and get a really nice GG pretty easily.

I just got to thinking...the only times I remember passing you at enduros was when you were on other brands of bikes.

Nothing wrong with you Ed. Just keep on a GG and you should be cured. You could make Skid and offer for Fury's 2011 GG250 Six Days.

I am relatively new to GG but here is what I have had in the past 5 year....and yes I am a serial trader....lol

02 RM125
02 Husky CR125 (great motor)
04 TE250 SLOW
04 EC250
06 EC250
08 EC300

at the same time my buddy has had

10 390 berg
08 25of ktm
08250xc
09 Husky WR300 sweet ride

i have noticed a few thing I REALLY like about the GG and husky both...

most of all the GG clutch feel is crazy good....it feels extremely light....only 3 things i dont like as much is...no handle to pick up like the earlier 04-06...seat height kinda low...parts kinda hard to figure out what is what....

husky...i really like the 2 stroke huskys...althought the thin seat hurts my butt...and it is a little long....

other than than the GG is a much better bike than the Berg or KTM IMO....

I got the big 450F bug out of my system almost ten years ago. So did my brother, and I've ridden his 450 while he had it to remind me I never want another one.

Sell the Berg while its fresh and pick up as new/clean a GG as you can with the cash.

Glenn

I remember way back when with your Canondale days.

I knew better but was like a junkie , I just could not resist.

I called my riding buddy after I picked it up

ME: Guess What I bought
Him: Cant guess
Me: A 450 Berg
Him: You did what, You are going to hate it, then sell it to me for half price in 6 months

I will be back on GG

Hey look at it this way...... you know you have a sickness and you know the cure...get another GasGas. I have Husky and GasGas bikes and love them both. I have had just about all of them at one time or another but now I'm sticking with GasGas and Husky, they just fit me better and I don't feel sick.
