Default Seat options

i was wondering what options are out there for replacing the facotry seat on a 2011 model gasgas.

i would like to find something with a little more padding. are there any aftermarket companies out that are making replacement seats? if not, has anyone tried converting another seat foam over to fit a gasgas?

thanks in advance

'07 seat was very hard. '08 seat much better, for trail riding anyway. Should fit all through '11. '12 is hard too but very narrow with angled sides and is fine with me. Might be something to that shape?

Default seat foam

On my 11 250R I replaced the factory foam with the "soft" foam from E.E. I did notice a difference right away. The fit was good!!

Maybe try a pair of cycling shorts too..??

I have a guys tall seat w hard foam and its hard alright. I would go with a medium foam and tall seal if your taller than 5'10. I stand up alot so i dont mind the hard foam so much and i weight 280 so medium or soft i just sink into.

im only 5'9" about 185 lbs, maybe i shoul djust stick with the EE soft foam at standard height.

i do wear biker shorts but i should probably get a new pair with more padding.

You might want to call Travis @ Motoseat : http://shop.motoseat.com/ he is now carring GasGas covers and also has foam.

Worth a shot!

I went from the stock 2010/2011 seat to a Gutz setup normal height, medium foam. In comparison I recall the gutz medium was a bit firmer than the stock foam. I can imagine a hard would be significantly harder. Soft should be nice.
