Question Best source for wheel bearings?

My rear wheel of my 2005 DE 250 has developed a bit of play. Time to replace the original bearings front and rear.

Which shop is the best source for reasonably priced, good quality wheel bearings? I suppose I could go local if I had the right part numbers.

I understand that the rear wheel (drive side) has a double bearing separated by a shim, correct?

Thanks,

Rick

I use these guys: http://www.worldwidebearings.com

Local to me, yes, but they have supplied Ty Davis, and also the old GG importer up to '02. They know GasGas and helped me out with better than OEM parts when I rebuilt my '00 motor.

I use eastern bearing which has a store in my hometown. I think I had to get my steering stem bearing from gofaster though. Check locally. I usually pull them off the bike and bring them down. the have the seals too.

Yes the rear has two bearings with a spacer, be careful to install it the same way it came out.

Eastern has a store in the area here as well, but Worldwide specializes in bearings for motorcycles so the stock is excellent.
