Power valve vapor fittings
I'm not sure what these fittings are called, but they vent off gas or something. Anyway these are the fittings that screw into the cylinder, I am assembling my
engine, after a top end rebuild. I took them off and can't figure out which goes where, one has small opening one has a large one. Which goes on upper right, and lower left? Do they both have hoses attached? Thanks for the help. |

I believe the one from the PV is actually the breather for the clutch case. Could be way wrong too.
The one on the LHS (shifter side) is the PV drain hose. I'd imagine this would be the one with the larger hole as its used to drain spooge. |

No, the smaller ID fitting is the drain for the left side PV chamber in the cyl. The larger goes on the right side and doubles as the transmission vent.

Thank you for the info. This is one of those details that is very hard to find in any manual.
