Default Wa Mtn bike racing

Wondering if any members do any mountain bike racing? I want to do some enduring, cross country, downhill too. Just picked up a pretty sweet 29r guardrail, now it's time to find a good race series.
It will help with riding the gasgasr to,since its hard to ride your best when out of breath.
Dam auto correct changing some words on me-endurance,hard tail.

Don't use a 29" wheels for anything that resembles any freeride or DH. You'll turn 'em into pretzels. I regularly ride my MTBs, but have never raced. I know there was an xc racing series near SeaTac, in recent years. Capitol Forest is fun for xc runs, & Duthie Hill is a blast.

The 29r is just for the cross country, and enduring maybe.I have a Transition blindside for DH. I found a couple race series, but wow! I thought it would be less $ to race bikes. Entry fees around $50-60.
I could race motocross for less.

None of these dang "wheeled" sports are cheap. They're only as cheap as the next more expensive "hobby" when compared. My last bicycle was more expensive than both my Gassers combined.
