Question Jetting 2011 ec300 AS2

Good morning
First, I want to introduce myself.
My name is Emanuel, I live in Brazil

I bought a Gasgas ec 250 and now I fixed the whole engine And now it has a s3 300 cylinder and an s3 extreme head.

Before recovering the engine she was 40 N1EF(3) 160 .
It consumed a lot of fuel and wrapped at medium accelerations.

Our gasoline has 27% alcohol and IAD 87.

I'm not very easy to get parts,
I didn't find a NEDJ but I got an N8RH, is it possible to get a good deal with it?

I would also like to know if the Suzuki 13383-28E10 needle is similar to the NEDJ.

As I don't have the facility to get parts, just getting a good fit makes me happy, it doesn't have to be a fit with specific characteristics
. Just getting it right makes me happy.

Can I buy parts on this site

https://www.motosantigas.com.br/

Thank you guys

The nedj is 13383-37FM0

you can also try the n3eh which is a ktm needle. both will give good jetting results, the n3eh is a bit more "exciting" to ride - it has a bit more power band hit, the nedj is very linear power

the 40 pilot generally works everywhere, i went to a 38 at similar altitude

A friend who is coming to Brazil is going to bring me needles. I would like to know the right N3 series and NE series needle to use in my EC300 with AS2

I ended up buying an N3EJ and a NEDJ. I also have an N8RH that should look like the N3. Will I be able to get a deal with them?

If you were running petrol at sea level I'd say NEDJ clip 2 from top.

But at altitude and running tequila for fuel, well, all bets are off. Good luck. Maybe there will be some synergy there, try it and see. One clip makes a heap of difference.

i am using 1turn 40 nedj3 168 the bike is rich in 1/8 , if I increase it to 2 turn I have difficulties in leaving the idle low. should i change the pilot jet or the diameter of the needle?

at 38 and one lap, it smokes less at idle, but if I keep the throttle at 1/8 with the bike stopped it gives off a lot of smoke, if I open the air more it gets the idle speed up I'm thinking I need a needle with larger diameter

Welcome to the forum!

Keeping in mind parts are hard for you to obtain, you can make a small change in jetting by adjusting your float height. Maybe check to see if you can lower the float slightly which will lean out your jetting.

Is your slide notched? Not saying that you should or should not but it is another tuning tool.
