Only on the 2nd shipment and later of '07s, like mine, did the VIN# conform. Thats most likely what the problem was. Right now, there should be no difference between a late '07/'08 GG and a new KTM 2-stroke as far as registration relative to VIN# is concerned. There could however be additional traps as I mentioned before.

Only problem i had was it took the insurance co a week to figure out what it was. Took about 45 minutes to register in Nv

Well I did it. In went in today to licence my 07 EC 300 and I walk out of the DOL with a plate in hand.
