SoCal - Kern Canyon/River Trail Feb 14-16 & Mar 13-15

Two San Diego-based GasGas riders headed to ride the Kern Canyon to Kern River trails (south of Lake Isabella, north of LA) on these two trips:

1. Feb 14-16
2. Mar 13-15

~60 miles of pure 20" wide flowy-to-technical singletrack (nothing wide enough for a quad ), lots of exposed sidehilling right above the river. Good stuff. Inviting all SoCal/Phoenix/southwest GG riders!

Is this also called kennedy meadows? Can you throw a dot on google maps or provide gps coordinates?

This is not Kennedy Meadows. It is actually Kern River riding. Good stuff at a good time of the year.

The trail system goes through adjacent canyons then along the Kern River (to southwest) for another dozen miles or so. Looks like about a 5 hour drive for you, Brian, which is same as ours from SD... it's worth it, I assure you.
