Default Marzocchi forks question

Hi all,

I have a leaky left fork on my 2013 ecf450,after looking loads on the web I am very unsure as to which seals and bushings I need to buy? it seems that there are hardly any parts for this bike for sale under the guise of a 450cc, everyone seems to end their sales pitch at the 300.

This question relates to the forks .......does the 300cc share the same Marzocchi fork as the 450cc, if it does then I will be able to buy the bushings and seals I need.
Thanks for any info, and have a great christmas !

You need to know what size forks you have. That would determine what seals you need.

In other words; are your fork legs 45 or 48mm in diameter?
I think they are most likely 48 which afaik was the standard forks on the twostrokes in 2013

Hi,
Yes the forks are Marzocchi 48mm, and am now pretty sure they are the same as the EC300 type.
I have also come across a post from back in 2015 that is quoting that the honda CRF 450 KYB forks (09' onwards) are also the same seals and bushes as my ecf 450 Marzocchi's.....can anyone confirm this?

thanks !

Why can't you just buy seals and bushes for the Marzocchi? They are readily available in the UK. Or were at least last time I rebuilt my fork some months ago. I bought them off ebay. SKF seals and Innteck bushes

I thought they would be readily available too so I typed 48mm Marzocchi fork seals and bushes into ebay search and it comes up with an outer bush but no seals or wipers....plenty for the ec300 tho which shares the same fork.....hopefully,as I have ordered some.
