I don't think that would be enough oil to keep it from seizing up.

Wow, they are doubling down on that technology.

That's an Australian article, do they have the TX line down there? As far as I know, there's been no mention of of the 2019 TX's in the US, but I'd guess that they'll still be carburated like their KTM counterpart the XC.

As for the air bubbles, I'm not sure how much of a worry there is. It's probably kind of like how the manual says to change the piston every 10 hours or something nuts like that. I know of a few locally who've had the injected 250s, one rode it in the pro class at King of the motos, and you can watch a video of him in the pro only race #2 launching it up the waterfall at backdoor. He definitely didn't waste any time checking it out after and I'm sure that's not it's only drop that day. One of my buddies bought that bike, and he's hard on equipment too, no issues with that either.

Personally, I don't want TPI because carbs work fine, but if I had one, I don't think I'd stress the air bubble thing.

Just found this, TX has a carb...

You can see it in the pic at the first link, and scroll all the way down the page in the second link and the mikuni carb is listed in the TX's details

Again, this is for the US, the other article posted was Australian.

For several years I ran Amsoil Saber (made for 100/1 mix ratio) in my 300 at a ratio of 75/1 and it worked great. No engine problems at all.
