Replacement Battery Trailtech Voyager

I have trailtech voyagers on two of my bikes, apparently it seems though each battery has failed even though both units have seen only a little use. I spent several weeks fooling around with both of them, using the trailtech ac wall charger but both have puked out. I called trailtech and they said that the batteries were probably bad.I need two replacement batterys, this is the trailtech replacement battery, it is 39.95.

My question is since these batteries are crappy anyway, I have hardly used them, can I buy 2 cheaper ones somewhere else? Any ideas.

Looks like a cordless phone battery.
Peel the label off and look for model #s.
