I agree with you 100%. If you think your old bike steered well, wait till you ride the '08! Good Luck!

Having just test-ridden some '08 and '09 bikes, I can report that they steer marginally quicker than my '05.

When I test rode the Husky, I was still on the slow-turning KDX, so my perception at the time was as bit skewed. The ergos were set up for a much taller person even though the owner was shorter than me. That screwed things up a bit for the test ride.
