Default Barnett clutch kit

The clutch kit was waiting for me this morning when I got home from work. So I took some measurements and came up with this.

Barnett friction: 2.7mm
Barnett steel plates: 1.5mm

Oem Frictions: 2.7mm (from my 07 Ec300)
Oem plates: 1.5mm

You get 8 frictions and 7 steels with new springs in the kit for $117.00 shipped from oemcycles.com
I have used Barnett in the past on my Kawi's. and have always had great performance.

This is going in my 97' so I will give a ride report later. Here are a few pics. I snapped of the product.

Now I confused again. I thought the oem frictions were 2.85 to 2.9? Can't remember what the oem steels are atm.

Clutch had a bit of noise when I put the Barnett kit in. But, one thing I opted not to do was replace the clutch springs. I put the new barnett springs in and now the clutch is quieter then when I had oem's in it. When measured the old oem vs. new barnett springs, the difference in length the barnetts were1/4 in. longer. So I was thinking(yes, I know dangerous for me) that the noise may have been from the oem springs just getting weak over time and causing the clutch hub to have play in it? Any thoughts?

I have used both the Barnett and DP kits with no problems.

Been running that same clutch kit in my 200...oh, at least 4 years now at least. No issues, other than it will bark a bit when it is abused really really bad.
