Default 2018 KYB stock setup

I have a 2018 xc250 that was revalved for about the same weight rider before I bought it and it works pretty terrible for single track honestly. My 2005 kx 250 was at least as plush, if not better. The suspension on my 2007 GasGas ec250 was better in about every way.

Since everyone raves about these bikes stock, I really need to know what the stock valving setup for forks and rear shock was if anyone has this info it would be really helpful.

This is not a bash post on the previous tuner, just probably a situation where the bike was set for a much faster guy and probably would be a decent motocross setup.

I don't know if anyone has pulled a set down to record them! Most are pretty happy.

Could be worth while contacting said tuner and explaining the situation. They probably have the stacks on file.

Hello, these weren't mine but i was hunting for the same info as i was putting some YZ KYBs onto my 2011 and wanted to see where the 2018/19 bike were starting at.

Im 99% sure i asked somewhere (here or Facebook) and was told they started at 32mm and tapered down in 2mm increments as expected, but the guy had no thicknesses or final clamp dimensions

I am contemplating grafting a set of YZ KYB forks onto my 2010 EC250.

Did you use the YZ triples? Or some other set of triples that fit the KYB forks?

Could you PM me direct at cronhelm@shaw.ca as I don't come here very often. Thanks!
