Default 450 rad guards....meca?

Anyone fitted rad guards on their 450fsr? Im having a hard time finding anything that looks like it will hold up to a crash. I really want the meca systems cage but seems they are only available for 2strokes. WTF? Do the 2strokes have different rads. The meca's are by far the best looking guards as well, embossed with the GG logo.

There is a set on eBay, seen them on there for a while. CRD, supposed to be good and the set on eBay seem like a great deal

Dont but the CRD's. They are uselsess. They wont hold up for a crash.

I think one of the radiators is a bit wider on the 450 to accommodate for the cooling fan. You might need to use some washers and longer bolts. I have Mecasystem rad bracers on the 300. I can make a few measurements in a day or two, the 450 is at a friends rigth now.

These are really good, so long as your radiators are straight to begin with. http://www.mainjet.com.au/product_in...d41ec9bcb788d9

.
Good to know, I was under the impression that they were sturdy.

I will be buying a pair of Rad Guards soon, scratch CRD off of the list.

Thanks

I need to know too. The '05's are tweaked up a bit, so I better get'em on the '10 while everything's still straight.

Well, the drill pattern would be the same, only length of brace tubes would differ. Either this kit has different sets of tubes, or some kind of spacers for the wider radiator on 450. OR, I am totally mistaken, and rads are the same
