Default Clutch problem sticky?

anybody else think it would be a good idea to make a clutch sticky thread? ive had alot of clutch trouble with my 03, and it seems that alot of other people have had trouble with their clutch not disengaging and i was thinkin, what if we made a thread, and had people post possible ideas as to what was wrong, and the remedy for those issues, maybe include pics, or links to how to's.

shell rotella t synthetic blend diesel grade oil is a big help. up here in canuckistan we get 5w-40w, but i hear in the usa you folks get 0w-40w. it flat out works! my bike starts in gear with one or two kicks 90 percent of the time.

and see i got 0w40, and it helped a little, but it still doesnt work. so im thinkin that its bent clutch plates. but i think a sticky would help, just one place where we can compile all the problems involving the clutch, and various solutions and suggestions as to how to fix those problems. it seems that the clutch is a common problem with gassers.

i don't think i'd say the clutch is a common problem with gassers. it gets abused just like all 2 stroke clutches, and needs regular service. if you measure plates, check basket fingers, etc. just like all other 2 strokes, clutch will operate properly. i don't think there's any design flaws in it's construction, it's the same as most other 2t clutches...

not design flaw type common problem, just that theres lots of people posting questions about it. nobody knows what to do when their clutch quits working properly. so i think it would be a good idea to make a sticky so that people can find answers quickly.

im thinkin of calling ajp america and seeing if i can use their magura master cylinder, as it has a bigger piston, so it would push harder. that or see if i can use a ktm's magura. i love the feel of my girlfriends 2006 exc200 with the magura.

magura and ajp are different companies..

hydraulics are a trade off. you can switch piston diameters, but feel will change, as will clutch rod throw.

i've been contemplating a radial master to see how that would work. just gotta buy a cheapy brembo copy on ebay.

so in other words a magura would work? it isnt that expensive, and its got a 10.5 piston, i think our ajp has a 8 or 9, or something like that. idk. also, its freakin impossible to find aftermarket levers for the ajp. a shorty costs 32 bucks! and im sure i can find a used magura off of a ktm if i look. i love the feel of my girlfriends. i dont really like mine. plus, theres no sight glass on my mc, and while that is a minor complaint, i still dont like it.
