Default Brake pads

Stupid question maybe, but cant seem to find the answer over the internett.
Does the honda pads work on the 2009 ec models???
I dont have a manual for my 09 and cant seem to find one on Gasgas.es . Has the site changed, because i see people here are refering to where manuals are to be found on the spanish site.

There's was "sparse" selection of manuals on the old Spanish site, but by no means comprehensive... and yes it looks like the site was "updated" an I no longer could find the "manuals" page that used to be there. (or maybe it wasn't there see below)

I love my GasGas but it's REALLY pathetic that there seems to be NO attempt at providing shop manuals. I don't even know if the dealers have anything to work from. I have a 2006 shop manual from the Gas Gas USA site HERE. It really ain't much but it does provide most specs one needs on rebuild.

Are they Nissin brakes? If so there is a good chance they will, if not then no way I imagine.

The EBC Brake Catalog (6.9mb pdf download) shows the same part # for '01 - '09 GasGas EC250 (pg. 58) and '95 - '09 Honda CR 250, CRF 250. (pg. 48)

Thanks everyone. Yes, they are the nissin brakes. I know about the gasgas us site, but how could you know . See in the parts crossover section that87- 01 honda cr pads fits 00 to current Nissin brakes. Are the 95-09 honda cr pads the same as 87-01?????? Will one have better fit than the other???

I can't say why the crossover section calls out the earlier models. Maybe someone else has FHE. I personally would go with the EBC catalog listing. That catalog definitely shows different part #s for the '87 - '94 Honda cr 250 vs. the '95 onward.

I do know that I put the (red) EBC F185X sport carbon pads in my '05 MC 250 which according to EBC fits Honda CR and CRF 250 from '95 on...

iv put 05' ktm excr front pads in no problems.
aswell as the earlier honda pads
the pads may be different part numbers but that doesnt mean they wont fit, as long as the brake pin hole and the square section on the other side of the pad line up then they will probably fit.

Hope they worked better than they do on KTMs.
