2012 - 300 Wiring question

Yeah there isn't a hole on the 12 disc so I thought about drilling but I don't trust myself doing that. If I could get the magnet to stick in the groove in the pic somehow it would work.

Just not sure how to pull that off.

My 13 came with a bracket that mounts to the rotor bolts. Might be a part you can purchase. On my 12 I drilled the rotor.

You can see the bracket I spoke of right where the fork leg is. Bracket mounts to the hub and is just a triangular tab.

For anyone wondering I filed the magnet down and then epoxied it to the rotor. I did 40 miles yesterday with no problems.
