Rejet for LTR Powervalve Cover?

Hey guys,
I'm picking up a LTR powervalve cover for my 01 EC200 and I'm wondering if I'll have to rejet for it? Thanks,

On the 250s it seems to make no difference, FWIW.

It should work fine, just don't expect a huge change. Its a subtle improvement in low/lower midrange. Less if you already run an FMF pipe.

That's all I'm looking for really. I like the hit in the midrange that my bike has, but I'm hoping to give it a little more low end to make wheeling over logs a little easier and have it pull a little harder out of corners without too much clutch abuse.

Taking out one of the 2 base gaskets & machining the head for a little less squish & a little more comp will bring those benefits more than the cover with no real disadvantage, - but have to check not too high comp for petrol you are prepared to run.

Lot of guys reckon it's quite noticeable on a 200.
I can even notice on a 300 provided I run it back to back on the same piece of slow terrain. Put a day in between or different terrain and I can't tell the difference but maybe that's just senility creeping in!

I installed the LTR PV cover today and all I have to say is WOW! It definitely woke up the bottom end so now I can just hit the throttle and it'll lift the front end. I could do this before, but it's easier now. I'm very happy with the LTR powervalve cover. I can't wait to ride this weekend and really see how much difference the PV cover makes. The LTR powervalve cover should be a mandatory mod for all 200's.
