Default Sachs Internals

Anyone want to sell their 48 Sachs stock internals?

Cheers,

Rick

Not sure how much they would be worth but I would like to have the TTX inserts.

I need the stock internals. I had a problem that damaged one dampner.__

You might want to measure the part(s) that need replacing....the cart may be the same as a late model KYB.
I'd give the KYB distributer and see if any year model match.

I can probly find parts through the shop I work at but was hoping maybe some one with TTX internals would ant to part with their stock stuff... Top cap on my forks unthreaded from dampning rod and stripped rod outer and inner thread and rebound screw. It happened while riding bike and the forks were never apart. Never called go fasters but dampner rod is listed as one piece....

Is the Sachs Damper cartridge top cap left or right hand thread?

Close, but no cigar - KYB internals are just slightly different. Cartridge diameters are not compatible.

Sachs damper cartridge caps are RH thread, but they like more than a little heat to persuade their separation from the cartridge. You'll want to make sure you have the right cap tool however, or things will go badly.

Actually that would make sense...that the carts are only slightly different considering patent infringements might apply.
