On my kicker 300 Race the battery box is that annoying thing you have to remove to get the air filter out. Didn't you remove it and replace with your own brace system?

I have an E-Start model that would be silly not to have a battery...LOL And removing the box took all on 1 minute.

The reason I installed that bar to the underside of seat is that on the Factory Replica parts diagram it shows this piece goes there. The bad thing is that the holes do now line up but I went ahead and drilled out my own holes and installed.

Why did you have to order a new rear tail light?

Here is a good way to prevent those rubber grommets from falling out.

Drill small holes just big enough for hand grip tie wire to slip through. Then tie the grommets to your radiators or guards (depending on where you have your grommets). - Problem Solved

The tail light broke when I Looped the bike. The cheap poli sport one works but as a tail light it is not that bright so a cop could pull me over. The factory one is pretty dang bright so worth the $90 to me. Could I break it again...sure could.

Good tip, I was going to just use small zip-tie...but yeah maybe I'll do the safety wire method.

I removed that Battery box immediately.

Prior to installing the new AL subframe I bought the "2TRacing" metal support/hook to keep me seat in place.
Here is what it looked like.
For those who have not upgraded the subframe and don't use the battery box I highly recommend this aftermarket piece.
