Default need ohlins shock spring in canada eh?

i ordered a 5.6 spring for the rear of my 11 ec 300 approx 1 month ago. apparently they are back ordered from ohlins at the moment. we are just coming into the time of year that i park the gasser and jump on my 525 exc dualsport, because of the heat and dusty riding conditions. does any one know where i can pick up a spring,as this is prime time to strip the linkage, lube and install the bigger spring at the same time. i'm in the interior of b.c if that helps. thks . cactusreid

jumping on the 525 tomorrow and dualsporting up to sunpeaks to catch the opening round of the canadian world enduro series! should be KOOL-IO!

I used a Sachs spring on my Ohlins many will interchange, however for some reason the 5.6 aftermarket spring was slightly larger and we made a step collar to keep the spring from rattling around and rubbing something it wasn't supposed to.

thks guys, E-tech,where are you located? I'm in kamloops bc canada. it may or may not make sense shipping wise.

Lanky Doug, that's the same thing that happened to me! the 5.6 that my local shop got for me was to big internal diameter as well.he has reordered based on the # on the current spring in my 2011 ec300 which is a 5.2 if i recall. i need a spring with a ID of approx 57.23 mm. the 5.6 that was to big was somewhere about 62 mm Id.

I got mine from Halls and thought it was packaged wrong. They measured other sized springs and only the 5.6 was that way. Les at LTR made me a spacer washer for free while he was re-valving my suspension so it all worked out. Maybe you could buy a spacer from LTR.

I live near Roanoke VA. Not sure about shipping to Canada. I guess FedEx or UPS does it?

I have been told that the TTX and the 888 Ohlins use a different spring.

From my experience, the Cannon springs are good quality but often test a little lighter than what they are supposed to be. I would suggest getting a 5.8 if you get one from Cannon.
